DANIEL HSIA wrote his first novel at the age of twelve, and he has never stopped writing since. His work has appeared in short story collections, newspaper columns, magazines, on the internet, and on the screen.
While at Stanford University, Daniel created the award-winning "Harrison Ford For President!" website, an online humor site combining his interests in politics, entertainment, and satire. The website, updated weekly with fabricated news articles, gained national notoriety for its sharp wit and was featured on CNN, ZDTV, and in the Los Angeles Times.
After attending the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television, Daniel wrote and directed a number of short films, including the hit festival comedies "How To Do The Asian Squat" and "I Hate Cheese."
Daniel has written for ABC's "Rodney," NBC's "Four Kings" and "Andy Barker, PI," as well as USA's "Psych." Daniel is represented by Mickey Berman at International Creative Management.
